In order to keep Wilson County a top performing school system, we must do more to ensure our teachers AND school staff are paid well, treated with respect and feel supported by the policies our school board puts in place.

Keep Kids Safe

School safety is more critical than ever. Micael Lynch supports the amazing S.R.O.s at Wilson County Schools and the measures the current school administration & school board have put into place with metal detectors, fences, weapons detection systems and more. But, school safety goes beyond all that. It is about creating a school culture that is positive for all staff, students and families. The current zone 4 school board representative is a bully and creates a toxic environment where books are banned, children feel alienated and families feel unwelcome. This has to change.

Keep Buses Running

Wilson County is fortunate to have a school system willing to provide busing for our kids to and from school. This is an optional service for school systems. Our families are busy and our kids deserve a transportation system that runs on time. Michael Lynch is committed to fighting for better bus driver pay and hiring, understanding the layered issues with our existing infrastructure challenges and investigating solutions that get buses where they need to go and get our kids at school on time and get our kids home.
