Voters Show Up In Zone 4

Last night felt a nail-bitter. Which is odd for an uncontested primary. We have an official first look at what the general might be. I am so incredibly proud to say if the general had been last night I would have won.

Let that sink in for a moment. Wilson County. Deep Red County. Love, kindness, empathy, and nuanced ideas won out.

Now, all that to say the general election in August will look a LOT different. It’s also the primary election for state and federal candidates and most of those races are contested primaries - which means a higher turn-out.

But for now, lets celebrate our victory and keep pressing forward.
